Magma Incarnate: obtained from Vet Dread Cellar; requires Waking Flame DLC. Best all around 2pc monster helm for solo or small group.
Oakensoul: obtained through ESO Mythics/antiquities system. You need 5 items to be able to create the Mythic item. CLICK HERE FOR LEADS. Best all around for buffs, damage, and resource sustain.
Alternatives
- Baron Thirsk = 1pc magicka and stamina recovery
- Chokethorn = 1pc magicka recovery
- Shadowrend = 1pc magicka recovery
- Pale Order = best heals per second solo in the game
- Death Dealer’s Fete = high max stats and requires no effect but in combat
- Markyn Ring of Majesty = set and forget boost to spell damage and armor
Gear Sets
Rallying Cry: Purchase from Elite Gear Vendors in Cyrodiil. Great group utility setup, buffing your team’s damage and reduces incoming damage.
Daedric Trickery: craftable, Vanderfell zone. It generates incredible buffs that stack on top of each other, including Major Heroism.
FLEX OPTIONS
- Spell Power Cure = extra group damage
- Gossamer = great buff set major evasion to group
- Powerful Assault = extra group damage, flex radiating regen for echoing vigor
- Wretched Vitality = great resource sustain, craftable set
- Mara’s Balm = defensive set
- Grace of Gloom = good selfish survivability and major evasion buff
- Trial by Fire = extremely tanky defensive set

- Magma Incarnate: helmet obtained in Veteran dungeon The Dread Cellar, Waking Flame DLC, shoulders bought from Urgarlag Chief-bane the Pledge Master. 1 piece gives stamina and magical recovery helps with sustain.
- Oakensoul: obtained through ESO Mythics/antiquities system. You need 5 objects(leads) to be able to create the Mythic item. Location of the 5 leads (click for details).
- Willow’s Path: 6 trait craftable set (Bangkorai, Reaper’s March, The Rift Zones) or bought from traders. Provides great recovery/sustain and insane with Orzorga’s Smoked Bear Haunch food.
- Trial by Fire: 3 trait craftable set in Wrothgar zone. Makes you extremely tanky.
Race
The best racial choice is below:
- Argonian: great for pure healing and survivability, solid sustainability, and good defensive passives
- Breton: Best sustainability for healing. Gains max magicka, with reduced skill costs
- Dark Elf: Gain max magicka, stamina, and weapon and spell damage.
Attributes
Consider splitting your attributes into 32 health and 32 magicka. reach at least 32,000 health inside your PvP context. Adjust if not reaching those numbers.
Mundus Stone
The best mundus stone is Atronach to increase your magicka recovery.

Jewels of Misrule
Type: Foods
CHEAP SUSTAIN OPTION: Increase Stamina and Magicka Recovery by 357 and Max Health by 3927 for 2 hours. These effects are scaled based on your level. Ingredients: Bervez Juice (1), Lotus (1), Mint (1), Rose (1), Columbine (1)
Tri-Restoration Potion or Essence of Health (tri-stat)
Type: Potions
Restore 7329 Health, 6618 Magicka, and 6618 Stamina immediately. Grants Major Fortitude, Major Intellect, and Major Endurance which increase your Health Recovery, Magicka Recovery, and Stamina Recovery by 20% for 31.7 seconds. (effects are scaled based on your level) Ingredients: Bugloss, Columbine, Mountain Flower
Escapist’s Poison IX
Type: Poisons
Immobilizes your target and grants you unstoppable, rendering you immune to control effects for 1.6 seconds. This poison will also break you free of ongoing control effects. Inflects hindrance to your target and grants you major expedition, reducing their movement speed by 40% and increasing your movement speed by 30% for 2.3 seconds. Drains stamina from your target, increasing the cost of their stamina abilities by 10% and restores 238 stamina per second to you for 2.3 seconds. (10s cooldown). Ingredients: Columbine, Namira’s Rot, Wormwood
