Read more to find out if you can relocate your base to another location in Dune: Awakening without altering its layout.

Base building is one of the main gameplay mechanics in Dune Awakening, but what if you need to relocate it? Fortunately, the game does allow you to move your base around the map. However, it is easier said than done, especially if it’s already massive. Needless to say, it requires a bit of effort and time to move your base to another location.
With that said, here is a guide on how you can relocate your base in Dune Awakening.

How To Relocate Your Base in Dune Awakening
You can relate your base more easily in Dune Awakening by creating a Blueprint with the Solido Projector. This will record the location of various objects you placed on your base. This blueprint will also show the materials needed to recreate the setup of your base at another location. However, keep in mind that this will not save the contents or materials of your base.
Use a Vehicle To Move Your Items Around

To make things easier to move around, make sure you already have a sandbike. Craft a storage attachment so you have extra storage to move your stuff to your new base. You don’t want to hand carry all your items and walk back and forth. This is why you need to wait until you get the sandbike before considering relocating your base in Dune Awakening.
Your carrying capacity, including the one on your vehicle, is limited. Plan accordingly to transport all essential items and materials. Depending on how big your base is, it might take a few trips.

Claim The New Area To Protect Your Items
Make sure you claim the area for your new base with the Sub Fief first before anything else. This will help protect your new area so you can focus on transferring your materials.
Additionally, don’t forget to unclaim your previous base location. This is so that other players can use that area to build their base. If you leave your old base without dismantling it, it may decay over time or be claimed by other players.
The Purpose of Blueprints in Dune Awakening

The blueprint is only to save the layout of your previous base. This will allow you to recreate it in a new location. This means you don’t necessarily need to make a blueprint to relocate your base in Duen Awakening. However, having one saves a lot of time trying to get your base back to its original form.
Alternatively, you can buy blueprints from other players. If you like the designs of other players, they can trade them, and you can build yourself a replica of their creation. However, keep in mind that you will still need to have the materials needed to build everything. Alternatively, if you think your base layout is worth money, you can sell your own blueprints and make a living out of it.
