Where Can You Find the Direton in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?
The Falling Leaves is one of the many explorable areas in Clair Obscur Expedition 33, and you can find the Direton there. Find the local Gestral merchant called Persik and challenge them to a duel. Gestral merchants will not immediately sell you everything they have in their inventory, especially higher-end items like weapons, until you best them in combat. After the fight, you can approach the merchant and spend 30,125 Chroma for the Direton.
The weapon is quite affordable, and you can score a couple of Chroma Catalysts while you’re there. These are all the passive effects you can get from the Direton after upgrading:
- Level 4: +1 AP per Moon charge on turn start.
- Level 10: Base Attack gives 1 Moon charge.
- Level 20: During Twilight, Base Attack consumes all AP. Base Attack applies 1 Foretell and deals 50% increased damage per AP consumed.
The Direton Is Effective Against Enemies Weak to Earth
This weapon will already be at level 14 upon purchase, which is quite convenient and scales with Agility and Defense. The main selling point of the Direton is that it can add extra damage whenever Sciel uses Foretell. It can be very effective, especially against tankier enemies.
