While most weapons are locked behind puzzles or dropped by enemy bosses, the Gesam can be purchased. It is much more convenient than trading blows with a powerful boss, but it will cost you your hard-earned Chroma. The Gesam can be bought from a merchant at the Flying Manor, Fusoka, who also sells the Sidaro, a powerful weapon for Monoco.

The weapon will be at Level 28 and costs 81,500 Chroma, which is no chicken feed. If you have extra Chroma to spare, purchase Chroma Catalysts from the same vendor to quickly upgrade this weapon back at camp with the Curator. In Clair Obscur Expedition 33, encounters will become much harder, and you will need something to output impressive physical damage to hurt those in your party’s way.

The Gesam Is Perfect for All Occasions

The Gesam can transform Vero’s light damage skills into physical attacks, and this can be useful for late-game encounters. A higher-level variant can reduce the AP of physical skills and increase the overall damage. Here is a brief overview of the weapon:

It is worth noting that the max power increases drastically once both attributes are at 99. The Gesam is a well-balanced weapon, perfect for powerful enemies, and gives your party a fighting chance.
