Lithum is acquired by defeating Alicia, a boss in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This is a fairly hard boss and only unlocks after you reach a level 5 relationship with Maelle. To find this boss, you must go to the Alicia expedition flag and enter the Reacher. However, to unlock the Reacher, you must talk to Maelle at camp. Once you meet all the requirements, you can enter the location and fight the boss. You will receive Painted Me Haircut for Maelle, Lithum, and 3 Resplendent Chroma Catalysts as rewards.

Just like Jarum, Lithum also changes Maelle’s stances upon certain actions. This is a void-type weapon and scales on agility and luck. Most of Maelle’s weapons scale on the same stats, so you must upgrade them for the best possible outcome. You acquire this weapon at level 21; therefore, you will have the following passives unlocked beforehand:

  • Level 4: In virtouse stance, hitting a marked enemy doesn’t remove mark.
  • Level 10: Switch to virtouse stance on counterattack.
  • Level 20: Gain shell when switching out of virtouse stance.

So, your main objective is to get the virtouse stance and keep it that way by constantly counterattacking. This way, you can keep the mark on enemies, which will help in generating incredible damage.
