The Noahram is a shared weapon for Gustave and Verso in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. As the lead engineer of the current expedition, Gustave is willing to risk it all to fight for a future without the Paintress’ looming shadow.

This article will cover every important detail about this weapon, such as pickup locations, perks, and if it is worth using.

There is no acquisition process for the Noahram since this is Gustave’s starting weapon. Each playable character in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has a free weapon in their loadout that is enough to get them by. You will automatically have access to this item during Gustave’s first training duel with Maelle in Lumiere.

Verso can inherit this weapon during the second act to honor Gustave’s legacy. While it may be Gustave’s default weapon, it is not a viable option for late-game encounters due to a lack of upgrades and lower base damage.

You can still fight different enemies during the early sections and defeat them without much hassle. It is worth considering equipping better options like the Delaram. It is not the best weapon, but it is enough to get through smaller enemies.

The Noahram isn’t the most powerful or useful item in Gustave’s loadout. It lacks power and upgrade perks, which makes it easy to forget or discard altogether. Here is a brief overview of the Noahram’s starting perks and attributes:

Gustave’s heart was in the right place, both figuratively and literally, in his final moments. Perhaps the best way to honor his memory is to allow Verso to use other weapons and leave it untouched and buried alongside the original user. The developers most likely didn’t invest much time to craft an upgrade path for the Noahram, knowing Gustave’s fate early on in Clair Obscur Expedition 33.
