- Warrior: Solid combo of 1.2x Weapon and 1.2x Defense boosts
- Supreme: Best defensive trait with 1.5x Defense boost
- Arcane: Perfect for ability users with 1.2x Strength and 1.2x Ability boosts
B-Tier Traits (Epic – 15% Drop Rate)
Good traits that can carry you through the early game:
- Swordsman: Decent 1.1x Weapon boost
- Striker: Focus on abilities with 1.1x Ability boost
- Titan: Tank build with 1.1x Defense boost
- Strong: Basic strength boost of 1.1x
- Culling: Special 1.5x damage against low HP enemies
C-Tier Traits (Common – 29-50% Drop Rate)
Better than nothing, but keep rerolling when you can.
- Neutral: No bonuses
- None: As basic as it gets
How To Get Better Traits
Here’s what you need to know to get better traits:
- Visit the Trait Reroll NPC on Logue Town island
- Each re-roll costs 25 Shards
- The best place to farm Shards is Arlong on Arlong Park island (drops 200 Shards)
- Trait Reroll materials from bosses work too, but they’re rare
Quick Tips
Some helpful advice for trait hunting:
- Save up plenty of Shards before you start rerolling.
- There’s no confirmation window when rerolling rare traits, so be careful.
- Focus on Weapon and Defense traits for the best results.
- Don’t get discouraged if you don’t get S-tier right away; even A-tier traits are great.
