Here is what we know about the actors and the cast of Death Stranding 2 and where you might know them from.
While waiting for the release of Death Stranding 2, let’s get to know all the actors and the cast of the upcoming title. While we will still be seeing some of the game’s previous cast, the sequel will introduce us to new ones. The cast members will not only lend their voices to these characters but will also bring them to life through motion capture performances.
Alongside the release date, Kojima Productions gave us more info about its star-studded actors and cast for Death Stranding 2. With that said, let’s take a look at the cast and where you may have seen or heard them in previous roles.

List of Confirmed Voice Actors in Death Stranding 2
Currently, there are 12 actors confirmed to be part of the Death Stranding 2 cast. Here is a list of them:

Sam Porter Bridges – Norman Reedus
If you played the first game, you already know Sam Bridges as one of the main characters of the series. He is played by Norman Reedus, who is widely known by fans as the crossbow wielder Daryl from The Walking Dead. Some other roles he is known for are Striker from Helluva Boss and the recent John Wick spinoff, The Ballerina, as Daniel Pine.

Fragile – Léa Seydoux
Léa Seydoux is making a comeback as Fragile in the upcoming sequel. She is widely known for her role in Dune: Part Two as Lady Margot Fenring. She is also part of the iconic Bond movie series as Madeline.
Higgs Monaghan – Troy Baker
Troy Baker will star in Death Stranding 2 as Higgs Monaghan. He is quite a legend in the modern video game scene. Some of his major roles are Joel from The Last of Us, Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Booker Dewitt from Bioshock Infinite.
Neil – Luca Marinelli
Neil is played by Luca Marinelli, an Italian actor known for his role as Nicky in The Old Guard. If you’ve seen the pre-order trailer, you will see him wearing a bandana. If you are familiar with Hideo Kojima’s other games, you might notice how Marinelli looks like Solid Snake, a character from Metal Gear Solid.

The President – Alastair Duncan
Alistair Duncan, another legendary actor, will be part of the Death Stranding 2 cast as The President. His role as Alfred in The Batman animated series is one of his iconic roles. However, he is also part of various video games like God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla as Mimir and Vaublanc in Netflix’s Castlevania: Nocturne.
Tomorrow – Elle Fanning
Tomorrow, the character, not the day after today, will be voiced by Elle Fanning. She is known for her role as Aurora in Maleficent. She also voiced Grace in the 2009 Astro Boy movie.
Tarman – George Miller
Seeing Tarman, you might be wondering if you have seen this face before. This is because his character design is based on George Miller, the legendary filmmaker. He is known for his “feel good” films like Happy Feet and Babe. However, he can also go hard with his films, as he is responsible for the Mad Max movie franchise as a producer. Tarman will be voiced by Marty Rhone, who is known as the announcer in Street Fighter 6.

Rainy – Shioli Kutsuna
Rainy is a new character in Death Stranding 2 played by Shioli Kutsuna. She plays Yukio in the MCU Deadpool movie series. Some lesser-known roles include voicing Ran Mori in Detective Conan: Shinichi Kudo’s Written Challenge and Melia in Xenoblade Chronicles.
Doctor – Debra Wilson
Debra Wilson will play the Doctor in the upcoming sequel. She is popular in the animated or cartoon scene, voicing for various series like Rick and Morty, Phineas and Ferb, and Family Guy. As for games, she voiced Commander Thira in Doom: The Dark Ages and a female Dremora in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Dollman – Jonathan Roumie
You might think Dollman is just based on a regular ventriloquist doll; you are wrong. This character’s likeness is based on Faith Akin. As for the voice, Dollman is voiced by Jonathon Roumie, who is known for playing Jesus in The Chosen. His other works in the gaming scene include voicing various characters like Jack Cabot, Doc Weathers, and Honest Dan in Fallout 4.
Lucy – Alissa Jung
Alissa Jung will be in the game as Lucy. Some of her appearances in other media are A Matter of Life as Dr. Judith Asmussen and Maria in Mary of Nazareth.
Heartman – Darren Jacobs
Darren Jacobs returns as Heartman once again in the upcoming Death Stranding 2. He plays John Constantine in DC: Dark Legion and Colum McGinnis in Halo Infinite: Memory Agent. He also voiced some minor quest characters like Koutoku and Toshihiko in Genshin Impact.
