Death Stranding 2 Corpse Disposal Explained

Similar to the first game, you will need to dispose of corpses in Death Stranding 2 if you end up killing a human enemy during your playthrough. The dead body will become a BT, and if that consumes a human, it will end up causing a voidout, which leaves a large crater and destroys anything within it. So, what can you do to avoid this unfortunate situation?

In Death Stranding 2, you can dispose of corpses by incinerating them at major centres (such as West Fort Knot) once you have connected them to the chiral network and by dropping them in tar so the corpses sink. 

How To Incinerate Corpses In DS2

You can incinerate corpses by accessing the Delivery Terminal, selecting Facility Features, and choosing Corpse Disposal. Locations like the West Fort Knot city have the option to incinerate corpses in Death Stranding 2.

How To Drop Corpses in the Tar Pit in DS2

This one is quite straightforward, as you will have to drop the body bag containing the corpse in the tar pit or the tar lake in the Death Stranding 2 map. You will need to make sure the body bag sinks. Also, ensure that you yourself don’t drown; the Otter Hood comes in handy for such situations.

While this is all you need to know about corpse disposals in Death Stranding 2, it is advised that you avoid killing human enemies at all costs. Using RB/MP bullets will allow you to neutralize human threats without killing them. You can also choose to reload a save if you inadvertently end up creating a corpse in Death Stranding and don’t want to deal with the arduous task of disposing of it.
