To use the Stun Bomb in-game, hold L2 to aim and press R2 to throw the grenade. Holding R2 increases how far the throw goes. It emits an electric shock on impact that can knock human enemies unconscious and render vehicles temporarily unusable. It can also be used against mechs.

The best use cases for the Stun Bomb in-game are:

• Stun Bomb effects are amplified if you throw it near water. This can come in handy as some human enemy bases are beside rivers and streams.
• Stun Bombs will go well with a loadout of Tranq Sniper Rifle and Bola Gun/Tranq Handgun in Death Stranding 2. You will be able to engage at long range with the rifle and then switch to the other two guns mentioned. Stun Bombs can be deployed at close or medium range, especially to disable vehicles.
