Players in Death Stranding 2 can repair roads and restore monorails to make their objectives much easier by following this guide.

Repairing roads and restoring monorails is not something you necessarily need to learn in Death Stranding 2. The game gives you the freedom to choose where you wish to spend your resources. You can choose not to spend them on repairing roads or restoring monorails. However, if you decide to do either of these, you will ease a lot of the burden on yourself and prevent your vehicles from getting damaged easily.
Repairing Roads in Death Stranding 2

Roads are one of the useful infrastructures you can build in the world of Death Stranding. The feature has returned in Death Stranding 2 as well. Just like in the previous game, the process is not that complicated. You need materials like Ceramics, Metals, and Chiral Crystals to bring your plan to life. Once you have enough, head to an Auto-Paver terminal. These are scattered around the world. Interact with the terminal, select the Restore Road option, and submit the resources you have.
A cutscene will play, and afterward, you will see that the road has been restored. When you pave a road, it will automatically appear in a preset location. At times, it may even take over a nearby river, eliminating the need to cross it in Death Stranding 2.

While continuing the campaign story path, Death Stranding 2 players will eventually reach the order Restore the Monorail and Deliver Special Alloys to F1. This is the 13th Main Order in the game. After picking up the order from West Fort Knot, you will need to head to the northeastern abandoned mine. Once inside, you will find a terminal where you can submit your gathered materials. You will then have to mine for Special Alloys.
Once that is done, select the Get On option on the monorail. This is how you reactivate the first monorail. Others, however, may require different methods to restore. For example, you may need to restore them in parts, just like when repairing roads.
