Death Stranding 2 features a handful of familiar faces playing preppers on the Australian continent. The Ghost Hunter is one of the many secret preppers you meet in the story, and you can reach their shelter by taking on a sub-order from the Chronobiologist. While it seems like this prepper is your average survivor, there is more to it than meets the eye.

This article will go over everything you should know about this prepper and how you can unlock the trophy associated with them. It is a lengthy process, but a necessary one to acquire the platinum trophy.

After completing a few orders from the Ghost Hunter, you can deliver some cargo from other preppers to their hideout. Your first sub-order from this prepper is to discover the truth behind the Headless Riders. This reveals that Higgs and his Ghost Mechs are terrorizing the locals of Australia. The prepper will then ask you to link up their shelter with Sam’s Q-Pid, and the region will now be part of the network coverage.

To unlock the trophy, you must complete the main story to gain access to manually switch on or off your Drawbridge Q-Pid. As it is based on UCA tech, the chiral network can connect the world of the living and stop the dead from the other side. Return to the shelter to deliver lost cargo or orders from other preppers, and you will be greeted by an automated message. Dollman suggests turning off the Q-Pid to see what happens.

These are the steps to turning off your Drawbridge Q-Pid:

  • Complete the main story.
  • Return to the Ghost Hunter shelter.
  • Interact with the terminal to see the automated message.
  • Press “OPTIONS” on your DualSense controller.
  • Scroll down to turn off Drawbridge Q-Pid.

Dollman deduces that the Ghost Hunter is no longer in the land of the living, and the chiral network is blocking communications. The trophy will automatically pop, and you can take more orders for this prepper.
