Corrective Measure is a void aggressive frame machine gun introduced in the Vault of Glass reprised Raid during Season of the Splicer. The weapons were later updated to be craftable with new perk pools during Episode Heresy. Machine Guns are useful weapons in both PvE and PvP. In PvE, they are used as middle-of-the-road weapons for dealing a lot of damage to single targets and taking out minor enemies. They are also great in PvP for getting multiple kills for a single heavy brick. Corrective Measure is craftable and has an Adept version, referred to as Timelost for Vault of Glass weapons, that can be enhanced. In this guide, we will discuss the PvE and PvP god rolls and how to get the Corrective Measure machine gun.
How to Get Corrective Measure in Destiny 2
You obtain the Corrective Measure from the Vault of Glass raid found in the Legends activity node. Specifically, it can drop from the 1st encounter, Conflux, 3rd encounter, Templar, or the final encounter, Atheon. In order to get the Corrective Measure (Timelost), you must complete the Ensemble’s Refrain challenge in the master version of Vault of Glass. Once earned, the standard version of Corrective Measure can be found in the hidden chest found throughout the raid and purchased at the end of raid chest after defeating Atheon. The Timelost version can be bought at the end of raid chest in the master version of the raid, provided the player has already earned the weapon once by completing the challenge.
A guaranteed Deepsight weapon can be earned if you complete the quest Fated Deepsight that is available at the Clan Vendor, Suraya Hawthorne, at the Tower Bazaar. Another Deepsight weapon is guaranteed to be available at the end of raid chest for your first purchase. Note that any weapons you purchase at the chest cannot have a Deepsight Harmonizer activated on them.

What Is the Corrective Measure God Roll in Destiny 2?
The Corrective Measure has a great PvE god roll that is not only unique but is also powerful in its own right. Destabilizing Rounds allows for some powerful combinations when paired with Void builds and synergies. The machine gun has a decent PvP roll as well, but doesn’t necessarily do anything unique. Machine guns all have similar rolls for PvP and the Corrective Measure has some good options.

PvE Corrective Measure God Roll
The best perks for the Corrective Measure PvE God Roll are Arrowhead Brake, Appended Mag, Destabilizing Rounds, and One for All. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.
The following list is the best perks for the Corrective Measure PvE God Roll in Destiny 2:
- Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
- Magazine: Appended Mag
- Column 3 Trait: Destabilizing Rounds
- Column 4 Trait: One for All
- Masterwork: Reload Speed
- Origin Trait: Timelost Arsenal
- Weapon Mod: Backup Mag
PvE Breakdown
The Corrective Measure was updated from an Adaptive Frame to an Aggressive Frame, making it have a faster fire rate. This makes it more unique as their are far fewer aggressive frame machine guns in the game. Arrowhead Brake will increase the weapon’s handling and give its recoil pattern a more predictable straight-up movement. Appended Mag and a Backup Mag mod will increase its magazine size by quite a healthy amount. Since we won’t be taking a reload trait, we will want to take a Reload Speed masterwork to help mitigate.
The Corrective Measure is looking to be another great void machine gun, which we already have quite a few of. That being said the Corrective Measure does roll with Destabilizing Rounds, which will allow for some fun void synergy. Combining that with a damage trait in the 4th column like One for All or Killing Tally can turn this machine gun into a add clearing machine. This unique combination of traits makes this a worthy addition to your machine gun arsenal.

PvP Corrective Measure God Roll
The best perks for the Corrective Measure PvP God Roll are Hammer-forged Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Dynamic Sway Reduction, and High-Impact Reserves. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.
The following list is the best perks for the Corrective Measure PvP God Roll in Destiny 2:
- Barrel: Hammer-forged Rifling
- Magazine: Accurized Rounds
- Column 3 Trait: Dynamic Sway Reduction
- Column 4 Trait: High-Impact Reserves
- Masterwork: Range
- Origin Trait: Timelost Magazine
- Weapon Mod: Ballistics
PvP Breakdown
Almost every machine gun is good in at least some capacity in PvP. Machine guns allow for some easy multi-kills with a singular brick of ammo. The Corrective Measure falls into a nice place of ammo economy and damage as an aggressive frame machine gun. We will want to improve our long-range accuracy by increasing our range stat as much as possible. Hammer-forged Rifling and Accurized Rounds are both effective for this. A Range masterwork and a Ballistics mod will increase your range even further.
The main traits on machine guns are typically not as important in PvP as machine guns are effective on their own without any bells or whistles. The Corrective Measure does in fact have some great main traits for PvP though. Dynamic Sway Reduction keeps your scope on target for longer. The best trait you can get for the machine gun is in Column 4. High-Impact Reserves increase your time to kill on the weapon which will allow you to get more kills per heavy ammo brick you pick up. That can make all the difference for a nice kill streak which can get your team the win.
