Luna’s Howl PVE God Roll
The best perks for Luna’s Howl PVE God Roll are Fluted Barrel, Flared Magwell, Heal Clip, and Incandescent. These provide essential stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.
The following list is the best perks for Luna’s Howl PVE God Roll in Destiny 2:
- Barrel: Fluted Barrel
- Magazine: Flared Magwell
- Column 3 Trait: Heal Clip
- Column 4 Trait: Incandescent
- Masterwork: Reload
- Origin Trait: Indomintability
- Weapon Mod: Backup Mag
Traditionally with hand cannons, you want to go with a Fluted Barrel to improve the Stability and Handling of the weapon and Luna’s Howl is no exception. Reload Speed is a vital stat for PVE as it reduces our downtime spent reloading, so our Reload masterwork, Backup Mod, and Flared Magwell perks boost how much downtime we have between empty magazines and how often we have to reload. Heal Clip is a newer perk that gives us and nearby allies healing for reloading shortly after a kill. Lastly, Incandescent can quickly clear rooms of enemies with an area-of-effect explosion on every kill.
Luna’s Howl is one of the most iconic hand cannons ever released in Destiny 2. However, its original usage was mostly geared towards PVP. Even with some nice perks, it is overshadowed by other solar hand cannons available. With this said, if you don’t have any other options already or are a free-to-play player, this is a fantastic choice.
Luna’s Howl PVP God Roll
The best perks for Luna’s Howl PVP God Roll are Hammer-Forged Rifling, Ricochet Rounds, Slideshot, and Magnificent Howl. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.
The following list is the best perks for Luna’s Howl PVP God Roll in Destiny 2:
- Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling
- Magazine: Ricochet Rounds
- Column 3 Trait: Slideshot
- Column 4 Trait: Magnificent Howl
- Masterwork: Range
- Origin Trait: Indomintability
- Weapon Mod: Icarus Grip
As with most PVP hand cannons, we are going to build into range with our Hammer-Forged Rifling, Ricochet Rounds, Slideshot, and Range masterwork. The combination of all of these perks provides us with a massive boost towards our range stat improving our engagement ranges. Also, Slideshot pairs well with our damage perk, Magnificent Howl by allowing us to build up stacks by allowing us to gain ammo in the magazine without manually reloading. Magnificent Howl got reworked making it less potent than before, however, you can still two-tap any resilience guardian with enough stacks.
While PVP weapons are often based on personal preference, Luna’s Howl is one of the best easily farmable hand cannons available for all players in Destiny 2. You should make sure to collect a few rolls as it’s sure to be a powerhouse in the crucible.
