Qua Xaphan V PvE God Roll
Our choices for the Qua Xaphan V PvE God Roll are:
Column | Trait |
---|---|
Barrel | Arrowhead Brake |
Magazine | Appended Mag |
Column 3 Trait | Triple Tap |
Column 4 Trait | Target Lock |
Masterwork | Stability |
The Qua Xaphan V is actually a great option for PvE, provided you can get the right perks to roll on it. Getting its recoil pattern under control with Arrowhead Brake is a great option, but really any barrel perk will get the job done. Appended Mag is absolutely the best choice for the magazine perk. Any masterwork is fine for this weapon, but Stability edges out the competition just to help this machine guns biggest weakness.
This weapon gets the infamous Machine Gun Triple Tap/Target Lock combo. While no where near as powerful as Retrofit Escapade in its hay day, this weapons slower firing rate may help keep up the Target Lock buff as it should be easier to stay on target. You could also go with something like Firing Line for a more consistent buff or Destabilizing Rounds for a void build.
Overall, this guns greatest weakness lies in its large perk pool. That basically means you will probably never see the best roll. Which is a shame because this one is quite a good one.
Other great Machine Guns to substitute for this weapon in PvE include:
- Commemoration, from the Deep Stone Crypt raid
- Unwavering Duty, from Trials of Osiris
- Circular Logic, from Terminal Overload on Neomuna
Qua Xaphan V PvP God Roll
Our choices for the Qua Xaphan V PvP God Roll are:
Column | Trait |
---|---|
Barrel | Hammer-Forged Rifling |
Magazine | Ricochet Rounds |
Column 3 Trait | Under Pressure |
Column 4 Trait | Rampage |
Masterwork | Stability |
Machine Guns are unique in PvP in that their perks are helpful, but not make or break on the effectiveness of the weapon. The best barrel and magazine perks are ones that improve Stability and Range, but honestly you can get by with anything.
For our primary traits, again it matters less what you use. In fact, its rare you will ever have a chance to even proc the traits, as machine guns kill quickly. Under Pressure is useful since the magazine is always low anyway and Rampage is just fun in general.
If you like machine guns, High-Impact Frames are fun in PvP although the lack the one shot utility of other heavy weapons. They make up for it though with their ability to take out multiple enemies with their larger ammo economy.
Other great Machine Guns to substitute for this weapon in PvP include:
- Commemoration, from the Deep Stone Crypt raid
- Unwavering Duty, from Trials of Osiris
- Circular Logic, from Terminal Overload on Neomuna
