Diablo 4 Lord Zir Boss Guide

Lord Zir is an Uber boss found in Diablo 4. Follow this guide to learn how to summon and fight it.

The world of Diablo 4 is filled with various bosses and elite enemies. There are some endgame bosses who are way more powerful than regular bosses; they are called Uber bosses. They drop various Unique and Mythical Unique items that help in making a stronger build. Lord Zir, aka Dark Master, is an uber boss in Diablo 4 and offers a very challenging fight.

In this guide, we will help players in summoning and defeating Lord Zir in Diablo 4.

How To Summon Lord Zir

To summon Lord Zir, head to Fractured Peaks and look for The Darkened Way dungeon. Players can find an altar in the middle of the arena, which requires x12 Exquisite Blood as summoning material. Exquisite Blood is obtained from the Tree of Whispers, elite enemies, Helltide chests, world bosses, and more. Remember that players need to be on at least Torment 1 difficulty to summon this boss.

Lord Zir Boss Fight Guide

Lord Zir uses a lot of shadow damage, so building shadow resistance can help reduce incoming damage. Players can use Elixir of Shadow Resistance II to increase their shadow resistance. Fill the stagger bar to stun the boss for a few seconds. During this time, players can attack the boss without any worries. Here are some of Lord Zir’s skills and abilities that every player should look out for:

1. Blood Rain: The boss flaps his wings, which causes a rain of blood. Try to dodge the puddles this rain creates.
2. Blood Talons: Lord Zir equips claws of blood and attacks the player. Take cover behind the boss to dodge this heavy attack.
3. Wing Blast: The boss teleports and attacks with his wings. This is a homing attack, so players have to dodge it with very perfect timing.
4. Minion Summons: Lord Zir summons a lot of minions that can inflict potentially high damage when ignored. Use AoE skills to deal with the summons quickly and focus on the boss.

If players stay aware of the blood pools and clear minions quickly, they will claim victory in this battle. Learning the pattern of a boss fight is the most important factor in winning.
