This guide details and lists down the location for all of the Chapter 17 collectibles in Doom The Dark Ages.
In Doom The Dark Ages, you’ll need to slay groups of hideous monsters while also exploring the semi-open maps to uncover all secrets and grab all collectibles. The Temple of Lomarith is the 17th chapter of the game, where there are several collectibles that you can find throughout the map. However, unearthing them will require quite a bit of exploration. So, to make things easier for you, here is an extensive guide on all of the Chapter 17 collectibles in Doom The Dark Ages.
All Chapter 17 Collectibles in Doom The Dark Ages
This chapter hides nine collectibles for you to find and pick up. Refer to the following table for the locations of each one.
| Collectible Name | Location |
| Ruby | After defeating the first large wave of enemies, look toward the gate where you need to proceed, but don’t enter it. Instead, proceed to the right until you reach the shield recall jump spot. Use it to proceed and find the Ruby. |
| Demonic Essence for Ammo | Simply follow the mission marker to grab this one. You cannot miss it. |
| Codex | After grabbing the previous collectible, you’ll proceed inside a shipwreck. Go through it, and rather than coming out of it using a side exit, proceed to the front of the ship. There, you’ll discover this codex. |
| Collectible Toy | After the mission asks you to get back into the ship, you’ll find a cage holding the toy to the right of the entrance. To break open the cage, return to the area where the portal was. There, use the cosmic eye and the Shield Saw to collect the toy. |
| Demonic Essence for Ammo | After using the first circle booster and before using the next one, look toward the ship. Shield bash into the ship’s section and drop down into a little room. There, fight a big battle and kill the last enemy to grab the upgrade. |
| Weapon Skin | After reaching the final section of the level, defeat the wave of enemies. Then, head to the left side of the lower level and enter the water cave. Defeat the enemy here and take the launcher to the area where the skin is. |
| Wraithstone | Starting from the shrine, move toward the exact opposite part of the map. Shield charge through the side of the ship here. However, there won’t be anything there. Turn around and you’ll find that the entrance hole is gone. Turn around once more to see that the ship has changed. After the battle, you’ll drop down a hole that’ll take you to the initial room inside the ship. Now, the Wraithstone will be there. |
| Purple Key | Head up the stairs outside, and almost right above the Wraithstone’s location will be the Purple Key. |
| Ruby | Return to the shrine and look toward its left to find a locked gate. Open it with the Purple Key to grab the ruby from inside. |
