How To Access the Mastery Challenges in Doom The Dark Ages

To start, you need to max out your weapon upgrades. This happens at the Sentinel Shrine, which becomes important during Chapter 9. After solving the Wolf Puzzle and acquiring the Wraithstone, you can push weapons to their final upgrade stage. Only then can you take on their corresponding challenge.
