YouTube and Rumble streamer Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm called out Twitch streamer Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo for being “fake”. Lupo criticized Dr Disrespect’s return to streaming and said anyone who supports the streamer has “brain damage”.

After being called out, Beahm went live on February 24, 2025, and called out multiple streamers. He called out his former friends Lupo and Nicholas “Nickmercs” Kolcheff for severing their relationship with him.

Beahm was banned from Twitch in 2020 for unknown reasons. Neither the streaming platform nor the streamer disclosed any details about the ban, which fueled speculation. There were rumors of Beahm inappropriately communicating with a minor, but everyone was in the dark. Twitch’s Director of Strategic Partnerships confirmed that the rumors were true and Beahm’s alleged actions forced Twitch to ban him.

June 2024: Dr Disrespect Admits to Allegations and Immediately Backtracks

After Twitch confirmed that Dr Disrespect was banned for inappropriately talking to a minor, multiple brands like Turtle Beach, Mountain Dew and Gilette cut ties with him. The streamer addressed the situation, saying he sent “Twitch whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017”. He added:

“Were there real intentions behind these messages, the answer is absolutely not. These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more.”

The streamer took responsibility and said the incident should have never happened.

“Now, from a moral standpoint, I’ll absolutely take responsibility. I should have never entertained these conversations to begin with. That’s on me. That’s on me as an adult, a husband and a father. It should have never happened. I get it. I’m not perfect and I’ll f*cking own my shit. This was stupid.”

Beahm’s tweet divided internet users, and many wanted him de-platformed from social media. After facing criticism, the streamer deleted his tweet after editing his original statement multiple times.

September 2024: DrLupo Calls Out Beahm’s Actions

After Dr Disrespect seemingly admitted to his actions and deleted his tweet, he took a break from streaming. Internet users approached the streamer’s former friends and kept talking about the controversy. DrLupo responded to his chat:

“We collaborated multiple times. Suddenly, it turns out that years ago, he tried to message a minor to solicit them for sex, and it got caught and that’s why it didn’t happen. You expect me to ‘not turn my back’? There’s no way you do not have f**king brain damage from this. There is absolutely no way! If anywhere along that path you go, ‘Oh, that’s fine,’ you got something f**ked up in your head, dude.”

After some people defended the controversial streamer in his chat, Lupo said:

“I don’t give a f*ck, dude. He messaged a 17-year-old when he was in his late 30s, with a child, and married. He’s trying to solicit them for sex. And every single time he talks about it, it’s going to be sugarcoated.”

February 2025: Dr Disrespect Calls Out DrLupo

Dr Disrespect returned to streaming in September 2024, but YouTube demonetized his channel. The streamer stayed away from controversial statements and did not respond. In December 2024, YouTube remonetized his channel, to everyone’s surprise. The controversial streamer started calling other content creators and claimed he was innocent.

In a recent livestream on February 24, 2025, he told his audience:

“I think NICKMERCS is the biggest f*cking p*ssy in the world. Lupo, obviously, he’s a fake. I didn’t talk about it before, but I’m in the mood now. I think these people are the phoniest f*cking people in the industry, man. You know what I mean, champs?”

The streamer called out Nickmercs and Lupo at the same time:

“Who does that? These people met Mrs Assassin and Baby Assassin (wife and child). They met them multiple times. So for Nick to go on some f*cking low-budget podcast and talk about us the way he did, like, who does that? You f*cking phony p*ssy. The issue I have with those two is they met Mrs Assassin and Baby Assassin multiple times. They know what I’m about.”

DrLupo defended his stance and said that Beahm should not have a platform after the controversy. Dr Disrespect has not responded to Lupo’s recent comments so far.
