Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s world is just as beautiful as it is tragic. The Spirits of the Dalish quest is the perfect example of tragedy wrapped up in beauty as you seek the truth behind the death of the Dalish clan in Arlathan Forest. The Dalish spirits are in agony and need help. The quest requires you to find mementos, with each piece revealing part of the truth.

How to Start Spirits of the Dalish
You start the Spirits of the Dalish quest by talking to a distressed spirit near the shipwreck at the Ruins Beach on the eastern end of the map. You can only pursue this quest if you’ve completed the Sea of Blood main story quest, as well as Harding’s Unfamiliar Sense companion quest.
Speak to the spirit near the shipwreck and it will cry out in pain. The spirit can sense the agony of the Dalish and begs you to help them.
How to Complete Spirits of the Dalish

| #1 | Talk to the anxious spirit and head north, following the path straight till you reach a gap connected by a tree branch. Cross the branch and take a right towards the broken bridge. Drop down and investigate the shipwreck below to find the first clan memento. |
| #2 | Head north from the first memento and follow the path straight till you run into a mob. On their left is a small cave with a few corpses in it. Investigate the corpses to find the second clan memento. |
| #3 | Head northwest from the cave and take a left from the Riverside Ruins into the Shadowy Grove. Follow the path till you reach the Nameless Building. The third clan memento is on the left side of the gate. |
| #4 | Scale the cliff beside the Nameless Building to find a way inside. Work towards the west until you’re back out on the Ruins Beach. Head east past the wolf statue and take the first right to find a clan memento. |
| #5 | Go down on the path past the wolf statue and into another mob back in the Shadowy Grove. Defeat the mob and go to the southern end of this arena to find a clan memento. |
With all the mementos in hand, head back to the anxious spirit and talk to it to complete the Spirits of the Dalish quest.
