Securing the Eastern Bases

You need to begin with taking control of the eastern enemy bases in the Battle of Guandu. In the process, take down key enemies such as Wang Mo and nearby soldiers using combos, Musou attacks, and Battle Arts. These will allow you to efficiently clear the area. You can capture these bases. This will boost your allies’ morale and set the stage for the next phase of the battle.

Northeastern Offensive

After you secure the eastern bases, you need to shift your focus to the northeastern base. Here, you will find enemies like Han Juzi and other generals are stationed. You can expect a lot of enemies here, so it’s important to rely on Musou attacks and fire volleys. As Cao Cao’s forces keep moving forward toward Wuchao, you need to take down Zhengi and Chunyu Qiong. This will allow you to free up your allies for further assaults.

Regrouping at Center Point (A)

Once you have secured the northeastern base, you can head to Point A. Here, you can regroup with allied forces such as Guo Jia and Xiahou Dun. After this, you will face Zhang He’s formidable force, which requires your assistance to secure the area. You can utilize a mix of Musou attacks, Battle Arts, and fire volleys to overpower his troops. Be sure to maintain awareness of your surroundings so you don’t get overwhelmed by enemy reinforcements.

Clearing Western Bases

Before you launch your final assault on Yuan Shao’s base, you need to take down enemies in the western bases. This includes generals like Xun Chen. Completing this step is crucial to weakening Yuan Shao’s defenses and cutting down on his reinforcements for the final push.

Yuan Shao’s Base

Outside Yuan Shao’s final base, you will encounter a barricade of enemies. You need to use your full arsenal here, including combos, fire volleys, and Musou attacks in order to break through. Yuan Shao will mount a fierce charge. This will send Yuan Tan and Yuan Shang with a massive force. You need to beat them both within three minutes to prevent the charge from escalating further. If necessary, you can swap to Zhang Liao and unleash Blade Typhoon and Dragon Sweep Slash.

Optionally, you can engage Zhang He in a duel before entering Yuan Shao’s base. While his swift attacks can be challenging, you can rely on parries and Musou combos to defeat him. Yuan Shao won’t be an easy opponent since he is surrounded by his elite warriors, and he will put up a strong resistance. Here, you can use tactics like fire volleys and crowd control Battle Arts to chip away at his defenses.
