Minecraft’s new update, 1.21.5, has finally been released after announcement. A lot of new features were announced, including some new updates for the farm mobs as well. Farm mobs are the friendly type of mobs whom you don’t have to look back over your shoulder every other minute for. For the purpose of this article, let’s take a look at everything new Minecraft has to offer for the cow mobs.
What Are Cow Mobs in Minecraft?
Cows are one of the peaceful and harmless mobs in Minecraft. They can mostly be spotted in grassy biomes like forests or plains. I would go as far as to say that these mobs are the only ones I feel guilty of slaughtering, especially due to the way they look back at us with those puppy eyes as we are about to kill them.
But killing them is unfortunately a requirement at times due to their demise being the spawner of leather and raw beef. You can use these ingredients to either craft different items or even make food.
Apart from that, cows can also provide us with milk. You can collect this by using an iron bucket. If you feed two cows some wheat, it will activate their love mode and lead to the birth of a baby cow. In this way, you can farm and grow your herd of cow mobs.
What Are the New Updates for the Cows?
With this update, we will be introduced to two new variants alongside a polished variant of the original cow. The three are, namely, warm cow, temperate cow, and cold cow. Let’s have a look at how the new mobs look and where you can find them.
