How To Craft the Potion of Turtle Master
In Minecraft, the Potion of Turtle Master may be the hardest to obtain. This is mainly due to one of its core ingredients. You can only collect a turtle scute by first breeding turtles and waiting for the baby to grow into an adult. Once fully grown, the turtle will drop a scute that you can collect. Gather five of these scutes to craft a turtle helmet. Now let’s start brewing the potion.
- First, place the brewing stand. Then, take three Awkward Potions and place them in the three empty boxes at the bottom. Next, place the turtle helmet in the box above them.
- Now, add blaze powder to the box on the left. This serves as fuel to start the brewing process.
- Once all the ingredients are added, the brewing will begin. You will know it is working when the arrow on the right starts moving downward.
- Collect the three potions once they are brewed.
The potions will have a light purple color. They will give you a Level 4 Slowness effect and a Level 3 Resistance effect. You can further enhance these effects using other ingredients.
How Does the Potion of Turtle Master Work?
- Add redstone dust: Increases the duration of the slowness and resistance effects from 20 to 40 seconds.
- Add glowstone dust: Increases the slowness effect from Level 4 to Level 6 and the resistance effect from Level 3 to Level 4.
The Potion of Turtle Master is a powerful defensive consumable to use in critical situations. While it offers near immunity to damage for a short time, it significantly slows your movement speed. It is best used when you are not surrounded by many mobs and have enough space to make a slow escape.
