Forza Motorsport 20th Anniversary Update

Here we will be discussing the 20th Anniversary of Forza Motorsport and all the new events, maps, cars, and rewards that will come with it.

Dating back to its latest release in the franchise in 2023, the game revamped tons of features to bring a realistic touch to it. All these features help enable it to stand the test of time and preserve longevity and replayability.

With update 20, a ton of new features and add-ons have been announced. Here is a list of the new updates for the 20th anniversary.

With meetups, you can now play with your friends and randoms and just enjoy the thrill of driving in its purest form. With meet-ups, you can now just choose to join players on track and avoid the pressure of competing to win 1st place. It’s all about flaunting your ride, speed, and drift skills and just having a gala time. In this mode, you are free to tune your vehicles as well. There will be 4 meetups to select from at any given time. These include:

  1. Fujimi Kaido Drift Meetup
  2. Cycled Track Drift Meetup
  3. Nürburgring Nordschleife Track Day Meetup
  4. Cycled Track Day Meetup

Racing Heroes Car Pack

With the new Forza Horizon Motorsport: Racing Heroes Car Pack, 5 new epic cars will be available for download to add to your sweet collection. Here is a list of the 5 cars.

Open Car Tours

After experiencing the rich, enthralling legacy of Forza Motorsport via the Spirit of Motorsport Tour series, you will have the chance to check out the open-class tour. Through this, you will get to experience the journey of your favorite cars.

Experiment with various tunes and upgrades on your ride and showcase your cars for the world to see. With each update to Forza Motorsport, you will get to experience new events and a variety of different car rewards. The open class tour features these six series:

  1. D Class Series
  2. C Class Series
  3. B Class Series
  4. A Class Series
  5. S Class Series
  6. R Class Series

Completing all six series will reward you with the ‘2024 Nissan Z NISMO’ car.

Bug Fixes and Improvements in Forza Motorsport

Stability and Performance (All Platforms)

  1. Forza Motorsport no longer crashes when players quickly enter the Challenge Hub menu.
  2. Fixed navigation issues on PC when changing from mouse input to keyboard after the syncing entitlements menu popup in the Store.
  3. Fixed some crashes when generating thumbnails for certain cars.
  4. Fixed an issue where the Virtual Keyboard could cause a crash if the player backed out of it during a transition.
  5. Fixed a crash related to recording times on very long races.
  6. The game will no longer crash when the player enters the Challenge Hub while the session Host is changing tracks in Private Multiplayer.
  7. We’ve made general stability improvements across the board to improve your Forza Motorsport experience.

Rendering

  1. Fixed mesh/texture pop-in issues at Kyalami – Grand Prix Circuit when graphics were set to ‘visuals.’

Gameplay

  1. Fixed an issue where using Quick Upgrade with a car body conversion equipped and a negative Car Points balance would cause invalid parts to be installed under certain circumstances.
  2. Fixed an issue where the player’s vehicle would bump into the wall of the pit lane when leaving the pit of Road Atlanta.

Career

  1. Players now retain control over inputs when accepting an invite while skipping Practice in a Career event.
  2. Wet tires are now properly applied when skipping Practice in cases where the weather in Practice and Featured Races differ in Career mode.
  1. In Update 20, we’re including a few additional fixes to further help improve lobby sizes after the multiplayer services change made with Update 18 (Velocity). 
  2. Adjusted the default fuel amount to more closely align with the number of laps in each race.
  3. Car Proximity Radar is now enabled by default in Featured Multiplayer. Players can adjust the positioning or disable the feature via the Settings menu if they so desire.
  4. Fixed an issue where Lap Split times were not displaying in the HUD for Multi-Class/Timed Races.
  5. Fixed a UI issue where safety rating would display an E Safety Rating when the underlying rating was somewhere in-between two letter grades.
  6. Fixed an occasional crash when switching to certain cars in Featured Multiplayer after joining an event.
