Learn how to complete the Bunshin Phantasm event in Genshin Impact’s Mikawa Festival event with step-by-step instructions for all five levels.
The Bunshin Phantasm in Genshin Impact tests your wits with a temporal puzzle as part of the Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival Event. One of three game modes available during the event, the Bunshin Phantasm can be played by approaching its icon on the map and interacting with its standee.
The event has five levels, with the first two being relatively simple and the final three ramping up the difficulty. In each challenge, you have three rounds to solve the puzzle with the help of Muji-Muji Darumas. The bouncing dolls will copy your movements exactly in the first two rounds, allowing you to reach the end of each level by the third round. The Bunshin Phantasm sub-event is a wonderful brainteaser that contrasts the regular combat-based events while also yielding bountiful rewards in its own right.
Level 1
As the round begins, head over to the first circle ahead of you. Standing on it will activate a bridge to the next platform. However, if you move away from it, the bridge will disappear. That is where the Muji-Muji Darumas come in. Continue to stand in the circle for a couple of seconds, and end the first round with the button on the upper left side of your screen.
As the second round begins, you will notice that one of the dolls will mimic your movements from the previous round, standing in the red circle and creating the bridge. Cross the bridge and stand in the yellow circle on the next platform. Wait for a few seconds and end the round. In the third round, simply cross both bridges as the dolls copy your movements from the previous rounds and open the way to the finish line for you.
Level 2
Start the second level similarly to the first by stepping into the first circle (green) and ending the round. In the second round, cross the bridge and stand in the circle on the left (red) for five seconds. Then, switch over to the circle on the right (yellow) and end the round. In the final round, the path to the finish line will be open.
Level 3
In the third level, you will first need to get the floral blue key across the bridge to your right to open the way forward. To start, stand in the circle on the right (red) for eight seconds, then switch over to the circle on the left (yellow), and end the round.
As the second round begins, dash over the blue key as soon as the bridge materializes and return to the starting platform. Wait for the doll to switch circles and then cross the yellow bridge and go stand in the final circle (green) before finishing the round. In the third round, wait for the second doll to collect the key and open the bridge. Follow it across the platform and cross the final bridge to the finish line.
Level 4
As the level begins, first, step inside the red circle and wait for six seconds before switching over to the green circle. After waiting for a couple of seconds, stand in the red circle again and finish the round. In the second round, run across the red bridge, collect the key, and sprint back. As the doll lights up the green bridge, cross it and stand in the yellow circle before finishing the round. In the final round, wait for the dolls to clear the way for you and make your way to the end.
Level 5
Just as you did in the previous level, the first round will be spent switching circles. First, stand in the blue circle, which creates the bridge to the right platform, and wait for six seconds. Stand in the yellow circle and wait six more seconds before switching back to the blue circle.
You’ll need to act quickly in the second and third rounds. First, cross the blue bridge and collect the key. Return to the starting platform and cross the yellow bridge once the doll is in place. Stand in the red circle for six seconds and then cross over the blue bridge to settle into the green circle and end the round. In the final round, wait for the second doll to cross the yellow bridge with it and quickly get the key across the red bridge. Accompany the second doll until it steps in the green circle and finally, walk over to the finish line.
