Thoma is a 4-star playable character who was introduced to Genshin Impact in its 2.2 update. He is a Pyro polearm user who specializes in support by using his elemental skill. Storywise, he is originally from the Mondstadt region and now works as a housekeeper for the Kamisato Clan.
To this date, Thoma is a decent support and sub-DPS who is viable for elemental reaction teams. You can fully utilize him only if you first level him up and upgrade his talents. To help you with that, this guide has listed every material you will need to unlock Thoma’s ascension and talents.
Thoma Ascension Materials in Genshin Impact
To upgrade Thoma to level 90, you first have to unlock all his ascension levels. To do this, you will need a huge quantity of materials such as Mora, boss drops, and Inazuma-exclusive collectibles. Here’s a detailed list of what you will need:

Thoma Talent Materials in Genshin Impact
Thoma has three combat talents that you can upgrade till level 10. Each level upgrades his basic attack, elemental skill, and elemental burst. You will need to upgrade all three of these talents so that Thoma can provide support at his maximum potential.

Recommended Talent Upgrade
Thoma excels at support when used in most teams. You have to use his elemental skill and then use the buff provided from it and use basic attacks. Therefore, we recommend first upgrading his elemental skill and then his basic attack. Elemental Burst can be left out for last.
