Doing a Weekly Bounty is an easy method to increase your reputation in all the different nations in Genshin Impact.

Increasing your reputation is an activity that lets you gain a multitude of rewards. In every new nation you travel to, you will have a new reputation rank to level up. Though your level varies from region to region, the mechanics mostly remain the same.

You can raise your reputation level by doing various activities such as world quests, exploration, requests, and bounties. These bounties refresh on a weekly basis.

The Weekly Bounty becomes available as Reputation Level 2 in any nation of Teyvat (except Natlan, which requires Level 1 reputation). After you reach this threshold, you can perform these bounties whenever you want to.

To do these, you need to head to designated locations for every region. These will be marked on the map as shown in the image above.

  • Mondstadt has Hertha
  • Liyue has Ms. Yu
  • Inazuma has Madarame Hyakubei
  • Sumeru has Effendi
  • Fontaine has Euphrasie
  • Natlan has different people for different tribes

Each of these NPCs will let you pursue whatever bounty is available at the moment.

Bounty Difficulties

Bounties are split into 3 difficulty levels. Three star, Four star or Five star. The lower stars are the easiest missions, while the five stars are the hardest. If you do not have a proper team that can get past the enemy immunities properly, consider going for a lower-difficulty mission.

Higher-difficulty bounties have more traits you need to watch out for, whereas lower-difficulty ones will only have 1 special trait. However, this system works on high risk-high reward. The higher-difficulty missions reward you with more reputation experience. So, you will be able to level up your reputation faster.

Each bounty will be present in a limited hunting area. You will be able to see this boundary on your map and mini-map. A timer will start as soon as you enter the radius of the bounty.

Now, you have 10 minutes to find and kill your prey. Exceeding this time will make you fail the bounty, and you will just have to try again. You need to use your elemental sight to track down 3 clues regarding the bounty target. Once you have located all 3 clues, the bounty target will reveal itself.

Simply head to the location your elemental sight guides you towards and initiate combat. Once you have completed the bounty, go back to the NPC you took the mission for. You can now claim the reputation experience and mora and then select a new bounty.

Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine Bounties

In these regions, you don’t need to gather 3 clues to find your target. Instead, the target appears as soon as you enter the hunting area. This makes your life much easier. However, be warned, as these targets will usually be accompanied by various smaller monsters.

This system is further changed in Natlan’s Weekly Bounty.

Natlan’s Weekly Bounty

In Natlan, you don’t select the difficulty of the bounty from the NPC. Instead, you head to the location of the bounty first. Once you are there, you get to select the difficulty of the bounty, which will give you increased or decreased rewards depending on them. Moreover, Natlan’s Bounties give you Sanctifying Unctions, which will be quite useful in leveling up stray artifacts.

That was the complete Weekly Bounty guide for Genshin Impact.
