Wriothesley is one of the many playable characters in Genshin. As with all of the other characters, his power will be vastly increased at higher constellation levels. However, owing to his rarity as a five-star unit, getting multiple copies of him is an arduous ordeal. Certainly, it is not a path to explore without significant resources and a hardened heart.

With that said, here are the effects of all the constellations for Wriothesley in Genshin Impact and whether you should aim for them or not.

C1: Terror for the Evildoers

Wriothesley’s C1 enhances the core aspects of his gameplay. It affects his passive skill, allowing you to heal more often and vastly increasing the damage of his charged attack. It also lets you stay in the Chilling Penalty state longer, increasing your overall damage.

A simple but highly effective upgrade to Wriothesley’s best features makes this one of his best constellations. If you are trying to build a powerful Wriothesley, consider getting him to at least C1.

C2: Shackles for the Arrogant

Increased Burst damage

This constellation affects Wriothesley’s Elemental Burst, increasing its damage by up to 200%. This increase is reliant on the stacks you gain from Wriothesley’s second passive, There Shall Be a Reckoning for Sin. Although Wriothesley’s Burst is not a central part of his kit, it becomes quite viable at C2.

However, to make sure that C2 does not go to waste, you will need to ensure that you have high energy recharge rates to use the Burst more often.

C3 and C5: Punishment for Frauds

These constellations are the same for every unit in the game (focused on increasing a talent level by 3). C3 raises the maximum level of Wriothesley’s basic attack to 13. C5 raises the same for his Elemental Burst.

C3 can be a nice addition for you to get since that’s his main source of damage. Getting this constellation will result in some damage increase throughout his rotations. You will acquire these constellations in the process of getting C4 or C6.

C4: Redemption for the Suffering

C4 increases the healing provided by Wriothesley’s enhanced charged attack from 30% to 50%. If any healing overflows, it enhances the attack speed of Wriothesley or his allies.

This constellation, although useful, is not a very high priority. When a team has a dedicated shielder or healer, you won’t usually be low on health at any point. The attack speed increase works well with C1, however, and the healing helps Wriothesley’s sustainability in solos or in teams without healers.

C6: Esteem for the Innocent

C6 increases both the CRIT rate and CRIT damage for Wriothesley’s enhanced charged attack: Vaulting Rebuke. A massive boost that further enhances his playstyle focused around charged attacks. Additionally, each Vaulting Rebuke creates an icicle that deals 100% of Vaulting Rebuke’s base damage as Cryo damage.

As with many other characters, C6 is a huge increase in power for Wriothesley and lets him reach his potential as a DPS unit. For the absolute best results, C6 is a top priority for Wriothesley.
