This Ghost of Yotei walkthrough guide will take you through the Easy Coin side quest from start to finish.
Ghost of Yotei’s Easy Coin quest throws you into the mundane life of a farmer in Ezo. Your blade is sharp, and a farmer wishes that you put it to use against overgrown bamboo. What seems like a simple job, granting easy coin quickly devolves into a fight for survival as Saito Outlaws make their presence known.
Easy Coin is a fairly easy quest to get through, but finding it can be a bit of a hassle. There are a few prerequisites you need to meet, and you then have to talk to the right NPCs. It may all sound complicated, but this guide is here to keep things simple.
How To Begin Easy Coin in Ghost of Yotei
You begin the Easy Coin quest by talking to a settler near the Huraniu Mills, right before the Huranui Cliffs gate. Liberate this area, and the settler will then spawn right near the gate. Walk by the settler, and she’ll call out to you.
The settler will thank you for saving the harvest. She will then point to a farm in the distance, speaking of a farmer who would love to know that you’ve saved the harvest, and will reward you for the good deed. Finish this conversation to kick off the quest.

How To Complete Easy Coin in Ghost of Yotei

The farmer’s home, labelled Daikon Farmer’s Home on your map, is straight past the Nupur River in front of you. Cross the river and ride through the fields, and towards the objective marker to reach the farmer’s home.
As you enter the residential premises, a man sitting by the house will call out to you. Talk to this man, Heisaku, and inform him of the mill being safe. He will then give you some coin and will inform you of another job he has that you could take.
Heisaku’s garden is full of bamboo, and his blade is too dull to get rid of them. He wants you to put your blade to use and cut through them all to clear the garden. Select the “Accept Job” option to take on this mundane task.
Follow the farmer through his house, and he will lead you to the bamboo. All you have to do then is strike through the bamboo by pressing the attack button. Clear out all the bamboo and follow him back. Before you can get your reward, however, Saito Outlaws will raid the place, hunting for Heisaku.
Heisaku attempts to negotiate with them, but when they reveal that they’re only here for you, he quickly rats you out. This kicks off a fight, and you have to kill all the outlaws. Confront Heisaku, and he will then apologize and offer you payment, bringing the quest to a close.
