Eijiro The Ruthless Bounty in Ghost of Yotei is one of the many you’ll find in the game. This one takes place in the Ishikari Plain, the second region that you visit in the game after Yotei Grasslands. Like every bounty, this one has a boss battle in the end with Eijiro the Ruthless, and you’ll need to defeat him to end the quest and receive the associated rewards. In this guide, we’ll explore how you can start this bounty and what you need to do to finish it.

How To Begin Eijiro The Ruthless Bounty in Ghost of Yotei

You might trigger the bounty in one of two ways. The first one involves heading to the Ishikari Market and interacting with the bounty board there. In this case, you’ll see a bounty poster of Eijiro The Ruthless, along with information on where you can find him. He’s holed up in the Higashi Lumberyard, which lies west of the Urara Forest.

Alternatively, if you don’t interact with the bounty board, you can proceed to the Higashi Lumberyard directly. There, when you interrogate the last enemy within the compound, he’ll reveal information about Eijiro, which can also trigger this bounty quest. You should note that either way, your destination is the specific lumberyard.

How To Complete Eijiro The Ruthless Bounty in Ghost of Yotei

Head straight for the Higashi Lumberyard. It’s an enemy occupied compound. To make Eijiro appear, you’ll first have to clear the lumberyard of all enemies. We suggest doing this as stealthily as you can since there are a ton of enemies inside. You can also choose to initiate Standoffs when clearing specific sections of the lumberyard. So, that is another way of thinning the herd a bit before open combat ensues.

After taking out all of the guards, the final one of Saito’s men in the compound will reveal that Eijiro is waiting for you behind the large gate near the tower. As you approach the gate, you’ll get the option to squeeze through it. Doing so will immediately trigger a cutscene where Eijiro shows himself, along with some more of his men. We suggest taking down these men first before you focus all your attention toward their leader. One of the men here will fire off flame arrows toward you, and you’ll want to avoid those at all costs.

Once the guards are down, it’s a one-on-one faceoff against Eijiro here. He has flaming weapons too. So, make sure you dodge out of the way of the attacks from those. Eventually, you’ll be able to slay the enemy.
