How To Start The Face of a Demon in Ghost of Yotei
To start The Face of a Demon in Ghost of Yotei, you must first complete the Face of a Master. Head to Nayoro Village, just north of the Tokachi Range. In there, make your way to the Ikidomari Grove camp. You can find this area north of Iwori Mountain. Entering this area will trigger The Face of a Master, and this quest will be added to your log. Complete this, and you can proceed to The Face of a Demon quest.
How To Complete The Face of a Demon in Ghost of Yotei
Progressing through the previous quest, you’ll learn about The Curse of Kanemori, which is said to be the reason behind the deaths in Ikidomari Grove. Now, you’re next goal is to track down the remaining ronin and get to the bottom of the mystery.
Head to Meiro Caves
Make your way to the Meiro Caves. You can find this area northeast of Kankan Creek. Be careful when going near this area, as a group of ronin will be waiting just outside the cave. Defeat them so you can gain access to the cave entrance.

Defeat The Deranged Ronin Inside the Cave
Heading deep into the cave, you will encounter even more ronin. Defeat all of the enemies inside as you move forward. If you want to cheese your way, don’t immediately get close to the enemies upon entering. They won’t notice you if you are not close enough, so you can use your bow to take the first move advantage.
Once you clear the area and defeat the Deranged Ronin in the cave, interact with the armor you can find on the ground to finish the quest. You will receive a new charm as a reward.

Ghost of Yotei The Face of a Demon Rewards
Completing The Face of a Demon in Ghost of Yotei will reward you with the Charm of Risk and Reward. This item has an effect that regenerates a minor amount of health on enemy kills. However, it has a drawback where you take increased damage when worn.
