GTA 5 offers a ton of content that allows you to earn money in Story Mode. However, not all of them are efficient ways to generate income. Some can be tedious, while others take too much time for only a small payout. This is why knowing the best ways to earn money in the game is crucial, especially if you are looking to buy all the properties, vehicles, and weapons in the game.

Due to the nature of the game, most of the money-making ways involve criminal activity. However, there are tame ones that don’t require you to commit illegal schemes. Furthermore, they might not be as lucrative as the ones you can do in its multiplayer counterpart, GTA 5 Online.

To help you out, here is a guide on how you can earn money in GTA 5 Story Mode.

After completing the story mode campaign, you can start investing in the stock market, which is the best way to earn money in GTA 5. However, it needs to go hand in hand with Lester’s Assassination Missions to get the most profit.

Each time you carry out an assassination and succeed, one of the big companies that are tied to the mission will have its stocks affected. Your goal is to have all three characters invest all their money in the stock market before a mission starts. After completing the mission, you need to sell your stocks as the value rises.

Here is a list of stocks you need to invest in for each of Lester’s Assassination Missions in GTA 5:
