In this guide, we’ll explore all of the Keepsakes in Hades 2, how you get them, and what exactly each of them does.

Keepsakes in Hades 2 help protect you and improve your survivability. However, with 33 of them in the game, keeping track of these can be tricky. Missing out on any of them can also compromise your ability to survive the tougher challenges waiting for you. In the following guide, we’ll list all of the Keepsakes in the game, how you can acquire them, their effects, and the requirements for their upgrade.
What Are Keepsakes in Hades 2?

Keepsakes are special items that you can get in the game by gifting different NPCs Nectar for the first time. Each of the 33 Keepsakes has different passive perks. You can approach any of the characters and select the Gift option when near them. After acquiring a Keepsake, you’ll need to equip it. To do that, head to the display case in the Training Grounds.
You can also upgrade each of the Keepsakes you own. To upgrade a Rank 1 Keepsake to Rank 2, you will need to have it equipped for 25 encounters. You can then upgrade a Rank 2 Keepsake to Rank 3 by equipping it for 50 encounters. You can temporarily improve a Rank 3 Keepsake to Rank 4 by obtaining a special item, the Cherished Heirloom.
Keep in mind that you need to complete an encounter for it to count toward the Keepsake’s upgrade. If you die during an encounter, the Keepsake you have equipped won’t count that encounter toward the upgrade.
You can also check your progress toward a Keepsake upgrade. Simply interact with the display case in the Training Grounds, then select the Keepsake whose progress you want to check.
