Hades 2 looks and performs phenomenally at 4K resolution. If you own any modern GPU with at least 6GB of VRAM, such as the GTX 1660 Ti and beyond, this game will run wonderfully. Below are the optimal settings for the resolution that strike a balance between power conservation and a low-latency gaming experience.

Hades 2: Best Settings To Play at 4K
For starters, you can use these settings with a desktop GPU that is equivalent to or superior to the 1660 Ti to play Hades 2 at 4K resolution. Hades 2 at this resolution will still max out your monitor’s max refresh rate. Using a frame cap will help conserve energy in the process. Rendering frames beyond your monitor’s maximum refresh rate, or even your laptop’s display, doesn’t show any potential benefit. The game’s input latency and responsiveness are already super high. That’s why limiting performance brings in benefits such as lower power draw, reduced fan noise, and lower electricity consumption. VRR tech displays, such as G-Sync and FreeSync, also benefit from frame capping, resulting in significantly smoother image quality as VRR operates within the maximum refresh rate range.
This game doesn’t require DLSS or XeSS, as the engine is extremely well optimized. Supergiant has done a fantastic job in polishing the game. Native 4K is readily achievable, and the gameplay effects, such as combo animations and spells, would all look astounding.
VRAM consumption will be around 4-5GB, and if you believe the game is starting to stutter, then lower the graphics quality to medium. RAM usage is relatively high in this game, so ensure you have at least 32GB of RAM installed for maximum compatibility. 16GB also works, but 32GB is more future-proof.
