In this guide, we will learn how to get bronze in Hades 2. Bronze is a reagent that is useful for unlocking more weapons and equipment.

In Hades 2, bronze can be found on the surface of Olympus. This means the resource won’t be available to you immediately, as the protagonist Melinoe can’t travel to Olympus at the start. She has to wait until the story progresses to a certain point, and she has cast multiple incantations.
How To Get Bronze in Hades 2

To unlock the surface (and subsequently survive there), Melinoe needs to learn the following incantations:
- Permeation of Witching-Wards: This incantation will let you travel to the surface. Requires 1 Cinder, 1 Shadow, and 3 Moly.
- Unraveling a Fateful Bond: This incantation will hold back the curse that keeps Melinoe bound to the Underworld. Requires 2 Nightshade, 2 Moss, 2 Thalamus, and 2 Lotus.
Once you can use these two incantations, you can travel to the surface to start searching for bronze.
Where To Find Bronze in Hades 2?
Bronze can be found immediately in the first area of the surface, the City of Ephyra. Start stockpiling the resource right away. The nodes for bronze look like a pile of armor. Each node gives three pieces of bronze. Make sure to collect all the bronze deposits before leaving an area.
How To Use Bronze in Hades 2

Bronze is a necessary resource for Gathering Tools, Nocturnal Arms, Incantations, and Aspects. Some of the things you can craft with bronze include the Argent Skull, which needs 2 Glassrock and 1 Bronze; the Rod of Fishing, which needs 1 Bronze and 2 Fishing Fabric; and the Moros Aspect, which needs 2 Bronze and 2 Tears.
It is also used in upgrades, like the Silver Spade, which can be upgraded with 2 Bronze and 2 Mandrake. If you are into the crafting aspect of Hades 2, or simply want better gear as you progress through the game, collect as much bronze as you can.
