Here’s a brief Weapons Tier List for Hades 2 to get you through higher fear levels and finish runs as fast as you can.

As a roguelike that focuses on a strict gameplay loop, weapons in Hades 2 need to feel unique to every build and play style. So, this tier list is based on weapons that can dish out the most damage with minimal effort. The higher tier weapons have buffs that will generally scale all your stats, making them a very good choice early on. Here’s the Weapons Tier List for Hades 2.
Weapons Tier List for Hades 2
Tier | Weapon (Aspect) | Description |
---|---|---|
S | Aspect of Medea Aspect of Circe Aspect of Melinoe (Witch’s Staff) | Pure Meta Builds. It goes well with almost all the boons and with specific builds. It’s easy to play, and investing in it early is a good choice for faster game completion. |
A | Aspect of Moros Aspect of Anubis Aspect of Nergal Aspect of Morrigan Aspect of Nyx Aspect of Thanatos | Builds that are generally good, but not broken. These aspects are also easy to play but need a bit more time to get used to. Goes well with all boons. |
B | Aspect of Supay Aspect of Eos Aspect of Shiva Aspect of Melinoe (Umbral Flames) | These aspects take time to feel good and can be better with certain boons. It’s good in certain loadouts, but you will have to test it thoroughly. It’s not recommended if you’re not ready to exert yourself early on. |
C | Moonstone Axe Aspect of Melinoe (Sister Blades) Aspect of Momus Aspect of Pan Aspect of Hel Aspect of Persephone Aspect of Melinoe (Argent’s Skull) Aspect of Artemis Aspect of Melinoe (Black Coat) Aspect of Selene | These aspects need buffs and can work out in niche builds. However, you will need to do a lot of testing to check if the weapons have enough DPS to get you through. |
S Tier Weapons

In this category, all the weapons mentioned above have high damage, a bit of mobility, and fast animations that allow players to move freely. On the basis of this, the Aspect of Medea might be one of the highest damage dealing weapons in the game. Medea gives you a 90% damage boost and a large AOE together when fully ranked up.
The Aspect of Circe has great burst damage combined with a lot of mobility in its Special and Cast. As the first weapon you get in the game, Aspect of Melinoe (Witch’s Staff) is versatile with endless boon combos and provides enough damage, even on higher fear levels.
A Tier Weapons

Weapons in this tier can achieve what the S-tier weapons can, but with a bit of grinding. Their damage output is good, but it is narrowed down to certain boons that really push them further. Weapons like the Aspect of Nergal and Thanatos feel underwhelming in the beginning but will slowly start pushing damage numbers after upgrades. For players that want to achieve the sense of mastery with a specific weapon, the Aspect of Anubis will provide it, as its unique mechanics, once mastered, will make you truly feel like a God.
B Tier Weapons

B-tier weapons will always cap you out on damage unless you craft status ailment builds. These weapons, like the Aspect of Melinoe (Umbral Flames) and Aspect of Shiva, focus more on their attack speed and status effects than their damage. However, these weapons can still reach high damage numbers if you’ve played enough of Hades 2. These weapons are fun to use and do not delay your progress in the game.
C Tier Weapons

You are better off without using these weapons in the game. However, if you like the way the Aspects in this tier work, you will need to do a lot of work and hope the RNG is positive. C tier weapons are effectively a downgraded version of other Aspects above them, as they have similar qualities but lack in certain aspects. The Aspect of Momus and Sister Blades (Aspect of Melinoe) deal good damage, but it takes a lot of Boon hunting and upgrades.
This goes for every weapon in this tier, as they will provide only one of the two most important mechanics in the game, damage and movement. The Aspect of Pan has almost infinite dashes but lacks damage, so you’ll just end up spamming one key during fights. Another issue about the weapons in this tier is the boons that complement them. Several boons that require these weapons to be great from good have been underwhelming since early access, so building around it feels underwhelming during later runs.
