Twitch streamer and political commentator Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker and YouTuber Mutahar “SomeOrdinaryGamers” are feuding over their political beliefs. HasanAbi accused SomeOrdinaryGamers of being pro-Israel amidst the Israel-Palestine conflict, which spurred the feud between them.

On February 12, 2025, Hasan saw a video titled ‘The YouTubers Who Backed a Genocide’ by YouTuber Noah Samsen. The video criticizes several content creators like Steven “Destiny” Bonnell, Ethan Klein, and SomeOrdinaryGamers. The video accused the creators of seemingly supporting a genocide on Palestinians. Hasan said he liked the video and asked his audience to watch it.

Clips from HasanAbi’s reaction to Samsen’s video went viral and caught SomeOrdinaryGamers’ attention. Mutahar accused Hasan of watching “other people’s videos” to form his opinions without context. The YouTuber claimed he never defended “Israeli genocide” and would never do so. It sparked a heated discussion between the two creators, with Hasan accusing Muatahar of attacking “pro-Palestinian voices.”

HasanAbi Thinks SomeOrdinaryGamers Should Not Cover Politics

After reacting to Samsen’s video about content creators who allegedly support genocide, HasanAbi said he was disappointed by SomeOrdinaryGamers’ actions. He thinks Mutahar should stay out of political commentary because he is allegedly not “knowledgeable”:

“In your (SomeOrdinaryGamers’) only video on Gaza, you admit to not knowing about politics, try to cover Israel/Palestine as drama slop for a centrist audience, defend Asmongold for inferior cultures/genocide comment, then attack pro-Palestinian voices. So I guess you just wanted the ad revenue then.”

Mutahar responded to Hasan and defended himself, saying he is not knowledgeable about politics. He claimed that while he is not familiar with global politics, he does not downplay crimes:

“Yes, I do admit to not being an expert on [politics]. I didn’t cover it as a ‘drama’ since it isn’t one, serious situations with dead people and attacks happening every day. I just don’t downplay r*pes and sugarcoat violent organizations like you. I also didn’t defend Asmon in the video.”

Hasan Seemingly Attacked Mutahar’s Religious Beliefs

SomeOrdinaryGamers and HasanAbi’s political discussion derailed into seemingly personal attacks amidst their feud. Hasan said:

“muta is a particularly insane case cus he’s a victim of the same right wing mobs he often farms in his videos. he literally left twitter because of vicious racism – and here he is back again! only to farm more!!! mf you went on hajj! they hate you more than they hate me!!”

Mutahar responded to Hasan bringing up his religion and responded:

“I don’t understand why you bring up my Hajj while being the most Muslim cosplayer I’ve ever seen. I’ve made tons of videos criticizing right-wing stupidity. Who’s claiming I want to be loved by Neonazis? I also don’t like your kind either.”

The two creators are feuding on X, and HasanAbi discussed the feud on his livestream on March 12, 2025. He called Mutahar out for his allegedly “centrist” views and was unhappy about his comments on Palestine.
