Finishers are an essential part of modern wrestling and WWE. Almost every wrestler has their own finishers, and most often they are flashy moves that are saved for the last moments of the fight. So we are glad to tell you that just like many previous WWE games, you can of course, perform finishers in WWE 2K25.

However, before you can perform a finisher, you will need your momentum bar first. It is the blue bar that you can see right below your WWE superstar’s name. And it is filled by doing various normal moves and damage to your opponent. Once it is full, it will start glowing and you will get a Signature move.

A Signature move is the precursor to a finisher. Once you have successfully hit your opponent with your Signature move, you will notice that one yellow bar is full with the letter F right below the momentum bar. That means you have one Finisher available.

Then open the menu and go to the Moves section to learn more about your Superstar’s Finisher if you do not already know. Finishers in WWE 2K25 require you or your opponent to be in a specific spot in the ring before you can perform them. Once that requirement is met, you will see an R2 + X (PlayStation) and RT + A (XBOX) prompt on your screen. Press both of the shown buttons simultaneously to perform your finisher and win the match.

The Super Finisher is a bit different than the regular Finisher in WWE 2K25; think of the former as an extreme version of the latter. You will need to fill three Finisher Slots to perform a Super Finisher. If you are playing in Legendary difficulty, then gathering three Finishers in one match while surviving your opponent’s attack will be a hard task. However, Super Finishers do massive damage, and if executed well, they can win you matches, so it is worth taking the risk.

But, despite that, we must tell you that unlike Finishers, not all superstars in WWE 2K25 have their own Super Finishers. So, we recommend that you go to the Moves menu and check if your Superstar has a Super finisher or not before gathering the three Finisher slots. Once all three Finisher slots are full, you will see the same R2 + X and RT + A button prompts on the screen, but this time, instead of Finisher, it will say Super Finisher.

But again, you and your opponent will need to be in a specific spot in the ring in order to trigger the Super Finisher.
