Everything you need to know about Hell is Us’ official PC system requirements, including the recommended GPU, file size, and more.

Hell is Us, the upcoming sci-fi action-adventure game from Nacon, is releasing much sooner than most players might’ve anticipated. Although the game was announced in early 2024, Nacon and developer Rogue Factor have revealed that the game is scheduled to release on September 4, 2025. Hell is Us is built using Unreal Engine 5 and seems to come with support for both Lumen and Nanite. Furthermore, the game’s marketing and gameplay trailers also showcased its use of ray-traced global illumination, as well as ray-traced reflections. Based on the trailer released by Nacon, the game does look quite impressive and on par with some of the best-looking current-gen titles out there.
However, the graphical fidelity comes at the cost of significantly higher PC system requirements. In fact, Hell is Us boasts what are easily some of the most demanding specifications for an Unreal Engine 5 game. Here’s everything you need to know about Hell is Us’ PC system requirements.
Hell Is Us PC System Requirements

The PC system requirements for Hell is Us are incredibly high, which is a bit concerning considering the game is also releasing on consoles. Even the minimum requirements are higher than what we usually see for most Unreal Engine 5 games. Although the CPU requirements aren’t anything egregious, the GOU requirements are a bit concerning. The minimum VRAM requirement for the game is 10 GB, which is quite high. For reference, Black Myth Wukong, another Unreal Engine 5 game that was released quite recently, has a minimum VRAM requirement of 6 GB. As for the recommended specifications, Hell is Us requires an RTX 3080 equivalent with 12 GB of VRAM.
Here’s a look at the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for Hell is Us:
Minimum
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i7-9700 / AMD Ryzen 5 5500
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 3060 / AMD RX 6700 XT or equivalent, with minimum 10 GB VRAM
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 25 GB available space
- Sound Card: Windows Compatible Audio Device
Recommended
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i7-9700 / AMD Ryzen 5 5500
- Memory: 32 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 3080 / AMD RX 6700 XT or equivalent, with minimum 12 GB ram
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 25 GB available space
- Sound Card: Windows Compatible Audio Device
It should be noted that as is the case with PC ports, the system specifications are subject to change. It is possible that developer Rogue Factor might reduce the GPU and VRAM requirements close to the game’s release, as is seen in the case of the recently released Monster Hunter Wilds.
Hell Is Us File Size

According to the official PC system specifications, Hell is Us requires roughly 25 GB of storage space. This is quite surprising considering the game’s semi-open world structure as well as the use of Unreal Engine 5. Usually, Unreal Engine games tend to be bigger in size, with some titles easily reaching the 100-150 GB mark. For instance, Black Myth Wukong requires roughly 130 GB of storage space on PC and consoles. However, a smaller file size isn’t unheard of for an Unreal Engine 5 game. Last year’s Silent Hill 2 remake is the perfect example of this, coming at a few gigabytes shy of 50 GB.
