Richard Tyler Blevins or Ninja is an internet personality who is a 33 year old professional e-sports player born on June 5, 1991.
Ninja, also known as Richard Tyler Belvins, is a Twitch streamer and YouTuber known for his Fortnite gaming streams. Initially, he started streaming games like Halo, H1Z1, and PUBG. The 33-year-old later moved to Fortnite along with Realm Royale, Blackout, Sea of Thieves, and Apex Legends. He also became the number one Halo streamer.
Currently, he is one of the most followed streamers on Twitch. Ninja has built a fanbase of over 19 million followers with over 540 million views. Additionally, he has a total of 24 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. He has uploaded 2.1K videos, which have accumulated a total of 2,717,263,066 views.
Ninja started playing competitively in 2009 and played his first Halo tournament. He then switched to Fortnite, and many call him the “best Fortnite player in the world.” He is known for his goofy personality and energetic streams, which helped his YouTube channel to grow rapidly.
In 2019, Ninja announced that he would be moving to Mixer streaming from Twitch. He signed a deal with the streaming platform, and as soon as he announced it, his Twitch partnership was revoked. Additionally, all his subscriber badges were removed, as a streamer can only be partnered with one streaming platform at a time.
However, after Mixer shut down, Ninja moved back to Twitch for streaming. During his first stream, he played Fall Guys and accumulated over 100,000 viewers.
Ninja Reveals Fortnite Earnings
Tyler gained immense popularity while playing Fortnite professionally. He hosted various Fortnite events, which included the Ninja Vegas tournament. It included various professional players, streamers, and YouTubers. The tournament revolved around eliminating Tyler from the game. It included a prize money and all the money earned by Tyler would go to the Alzheimer’s Association for Charity. The tournament accumulated over 680,000 viewers and was one of the most-watched on Twitch.
During a podcast with FaZe Clan member Stable Ronaldo, Ninja revealed that he earned a staggering $6.7 million during his prime Fortnite era. He said,
“The month I made about $5 million off the Creators Program, like $6.7 million, I think, I feel like $7 million. I’m not lying.”
This revelation left Ronaldo in shock, and he said that the figures were “disgusting.” Ninja’s podcast with Ronaldo also reflects a repaired relationship between the two following a public feud back in 2023.
