Dragon Age: The Veilguard is almost out. Here’s how to access your Pre-Order and Deluxe Edition Bonuses in the game.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard has two editions waiting to be bought. One is Standard, and the other is Deluxe. This has been the trend in the gaming industry for quite a while now. You don’t necessarily have access to additional story content in the Deluxe edition. Rather, the differences are mostly cosmetic and slightly related to the combat gameplay.
The only two editions are Standard and Deluxe. Both have bonuses that come with them. However, the bonus that comes with the Standard Edition will not come attached with all the copies of the game. The only people who can claim the Standard Edition bonus are those who pre-ordered it.
With that being said, let’s learn what the new Dragon Age game holds for you. There is still time before the game releases, so you may want to take a look at the bonuses and change your mind if you wish to acquire any of the following items.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard Bonuses and How to Access Them
The only pre-order bonus that Standard Edition buyers will receive is the Blood Armor Set. The Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, will have multiple other bonuses along with the mentioned armor set. You can expect the following in the Deluxe edition:
- Weapon cosmetics for Rook (the protagonist)
- Warrior Armor for Rook
- Mage Armor for Rook
- Rogue Armor for Rook
- Weapons for Companions
- Armor Sets for Companions
So, you can expect a lot of bonuses if you are ordering the Deluxe edition of the game. Whether it will be worth your money is your call. Now, you might be thinking about accessing or availing of these bonuses.
These bonuses will most likely be available in your inventory or at the first shop you interact with. So, whenever the story allows you to customize your character freely, you will be able to access your bonuses. As for companion-specific weapons or armor sets, you might not be able to use them until you meet these companions in your playthrough.
If you wish to buy the Deluxe Edition, the game might allow you to upgrade to it even after release. However, the Standard Edition bonus can only be availed via pre-order. You might want to hurry if that’s what you are aiming for.
