This guide provides an overview of all the companion quests of Bellara Lutare and how to complete them in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard has 7 companions who accompany you on your journey through Thedas. Each companion has their own questline, which are called Companion Quests. One of the companions is Bellara Lutare, an elf-mage from the Veil Jumpers faction. She can be recruited to the party during the quest ‘In Entropy’s Grasp’ while exploring the Arlathan Forest. The companion quests of Bellara are:

All Companion Quests of Bellara: Dragon Age: The Veilguard
You can pick up the companion quests of Bellara in Dragon Age: The Veilguard by interacting with her at the Lighthouse when she has a yellow exclamation mark. Bellara’s questline focuses on her attempts to understand the Archive and her relationships with her little brother Cyrian.
Echoes Of The Past
Echoes Of The Past is the first companion quest of Bellara in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. It is an outing-type quest that takes place on Artifact Vault. The main goal of the quest is to help Bellara check the artifacts. During the quest, she takes you to three locations where you need to find and replace the existing power crystals. At the end of the quest, she opens up to Rook about her brother Cyrian, who was presumed dead.
The Demon’s Bargain
In The Demon’s Bargain quest, you need to find the missing Veil Jumpers Yenarel and Hamuel. Taking place at the Floating Archive Temple, you need to go deeper into the ruins searching for any clues about the missing members. Fight some basic enemies and then defeat the Burning Anger to proceed with the quest.
Then, head to the Elven Temple, where you will encounter Anaris and Bellara’s brother Cyrian. Cyrian was found to be alive and seems to be controlled by Anaris to perform bad deeds against Veil Jumpers.
Survive the assault to free Yenarel and Hamuel, who were imprisoned by Anaris there. You need to defeat a big enemy, Toxic Yearning. Once done, Yenarel and Hamue will be saved and rescued by the other Veil Jumpers, Strife and Irelin.
Through The Shadows
In the Through The Shadows quest, you need to stop the ritual performed by Anaris and Cyrian. It takes place at the Cliffside Boardwalk, your goal is to enter the ancient capital and find the ritual site. First, you need to solve a puzzle, where you need to link the beam to the correct spots to open the door.
Once done, you need to delay the rituals by sabotaging the crystal amplifier. Once the amplifier is sabotaged, defeat Anaris’s minions and destroy the amplifiers. This task needs to be repeated several times until the crystal amplifier is broken and leads your way to the ritual site. You need to solve another puzzle similar to the one we previously saw.
Energize 5 consoles by targeting the light beams to the correct spots. Then, get past the barrier by disabling it to confront Anaris and Cyrian. Cyrian sacrifices himself to end Anaris’s ritual. After completing the quest, you will get an option during your conversation with Bellara, where you have to guide Bellara to either freeing the Archive or keeping it.
The Forest of Spirits
The Forest of Spirits is an outing type of quest that takes place at the Tainted Woods. Meet Bellara at the marked location in Arlathan and support her in performing a Dalish ritual. You need to get to three braziers and light it to end the quest.
