Taedal’s Tower is a secret dungeon in Throne and Liberty. It is a special dedicated solo challenge that tests players’ strength and skills with 20 tough boss battles. Taedal’s Tower presents a 20-floor challenge, with each floor featuring a special boss fight.

What Is the Required Level for Dancing Giant Butcher?
Taedal’s Tower boss missions can be first accessed during the Codex Chapter 3: Veterans Never Die. Interacting with a strange painting in Starlight Observatory Ruins takes you to the secret Dungeon Taedal’s Tower. You can then return to Taedal’s Tower missions anytime via the Secret Dungeons section of your Main Menu.
Each floor of the Taedal’s Tower mission should be completed in order. Once done with the eighth floor boss, you can proceed with Floor 9 Dance Of The Flashing Sword and fight the boss Dancing Giant Butcher. The character entry level is 30.
How to Defeat Floor 9 Dancing Giant Butcher in Throne and Liberty
The difficulty of the Taedal’s Tower dungeon increases from lower to higher floors. Since the Dancing Giant Butcher is the Floor 9 boss, we can say his difficulty level is higher than moderate. Being quick and agile, he is one of the trickiest bosses you will have faced so far. His attacks hit hard, and his health bar is quite large.
You need to follow his movements and understand his attack patterns to defeat him. The Dancing Giant Butcher has two attack patterns.
- His first ability is Dash or Gap Closer. He dashes or teleports towards players and then inflicts a deadly stabbing attack on the back.
- His second ability is Ranged Projectiles. He will throw projectiles at the player, after chanting “Death…. Eternal…. Death…!”.
Once you get to know his attack patterns, you can make perfect blocks and evade his attacks at the right moment. Keep on moving, and always be on your guard while attacking him. Use your stealth or stun effects to slow him down and take advantage of that. Watch out for a purple circle. If it appears, try to perform a perfect block or perfect evade on his next incoming attack.
Best Weapons to Use Against Dancing Giant Butcher
You can use both ranged or melee attacks against the Dancing Giant Butcher. It is recommended to use weapons like Greatsword, Sword and Shield, or Bow. Make sure to upgrade your armor and weapons before encountering the boss.

You can get the following rewards after successfully defeating the Dancing Giant Butcher:
