Since vehicles can greatly increase your survival rate and make your exploration easier, obtaining a Welding Torch is crucial. It is a versatile tool, allowing you to perform various actions with your vehicles. Crafting your first Welding Torch is the key to effective vehicle management, and here is how it works in Dune Awakening.

Before crafting a Welding Torch, you must unlock its schematic from the Research section. You will find the Welding Torch Mk1 schematic under Copper Products. After researching the schematic, you can craft the Welding Torch easily. Since it is one of the basic tools, all you need is 6x Copper Ingot. You can obtain Copper Ingots by refining Copper Ores at the Ore Refinery.

Once you have the required materials, interact with the General Fabricator or a Survival Fabricator to craft the Welding Torch Mk1. As you progress, you will want to upgrade to advanced versions like Welding Torch Mk3 and Welding Torch Mk5 for improved functionality.

How To Use Welding Torch in Dune Awakening

Welding Torch is an all-in-one tool for managing your vehicles—except for storing vehicles, which requires a separate Vehicle Backup Tool. A Welding Torch allows you to assemble and detach vehicle parts based on your preference. You can also use the Welding Torch to customize your vehicle’s appearance. Another primary function of a Welding Torch is to repair your vehicles. However, you also need Welding Wire i.e., ammunition for repairing vehicles.

To use a Welding Torch, place it in your inventory and equip it. While equipped, switch through the different modes (Assemble, Repair, Customize, and Detach) and aim the tool at different vehicle parts to act.
