As it is a cantrip-type spell, Booming Blade allows the player to strike with their melee weapon and deals more damage if the enemy moves afterward. Moreover, when you strike with this spell, the opponent gets afflicted with a resonance that hurts them for 1d8 Thunder. Additionally, you can cast this spell while being silenced.
