In Dune Awakening, players have to survive the harsh lands of Arrakis by fighting enemies and escaping environmental hazards like sandstorms, radiation, and even sandworms. Gathering valuable items and crafting powerful gear is crucial in surviving the perilous desert lands. Although some items are relatively common, they serve a great purpose. One such valuable item is the EMF Generator.

These components are commonly scattered across the different regions. However, they are easy to overlook if you don’t know where to look. Although EMF Generators are commonly found across most biomes, they appear only within specific locations. Here is how you can obtain EMF Generators and use them in Dune Awakening.

Where To Find EMF Generators in Dune Awakening

EMF Generators can be found in Fremen areas, especially caves across different biomes. They will be marked on the map with a cave icon, indicating a guaranteed chance of finding EMF Generators along with Micro-sandwich Fabrics. In the starting area of Hagga Basin South, you can obtain EMF Generators in areas like The Shortway, Selaya Cave, Mihna Cavern, and Aren’s Refuge.

Upon reaching these caves, you will find that the entrance is sealed with a fabric sheet. Approach and melee the sheet to tear it down. This not only opens the path but also rewards you with Micro-sandwich Fabrics. Inside, you will encounter hostile enemies. Upon defeating them, open the chests inside the caves to obtain EMF Generators. Several caves contain multiple chests, providing more opportunities to farm these valuable items.

How To Use EMF Generators in Dune Awakening

EMF Generators are key components for crafting various high-tier equipment, particularly the Cutterrays. You can use the Cutterrays to mine ores and to open doors. Apart from the Cutterrays, EMF Generators can also be used to craft different variations of Thumper, Blood Extractors, Impure Extractors, and Reapers.
