Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is an RPG with a very high focus on realism. The game has Henry learn many skills to use on his journey through Bohemia–one of those important skills is blacksmithing. Being the son of a blacksmith, Henry has a talent for forging as well. Furthermore, only through forging are you able to craft the highest tiers of weapon and armor.
Additionally, to craft such magnificent weapons and armor, you need to acquire a variety of metals and resources. One of these metals is known as Frankfurt Steel. This metal is a very high-grade resource with which you can forge various strong weapons. In this guide, we have explained how to get Frankfurt Steel in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

The easiest way to obtain Frankfurt Steel in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is to buy it from various armorers and weaponsmiths. You can also obtain Frankfurt steel from chest loots, although getting so is very rare. Remember that Frankfurt Steel is a high-grade resource, and you cannot obtain it in high amounts in the early game. Furthermore, very few traders sell it in the Trosky region. Blacksmith Osina who is located in the Trosky castle sells it early game.
You need to progress through the story until you reach the point where you need to leave the Trosky region and shift to Kuttenberg. The game mentions when this point is and what missions you should complete before progressing. Once you reach Kuttenberg, head to the main settlement where most armorers and blacksmiths are. You can then purchase Frankfurt Steel from their Materials section.
How To Get Some Frankfurt Steel Early Game
If you want to get Frankfurt Steel in the early game, you can get three pieces of Frankfurt Steel from the Blacksmith’s chest in Samine Fort. At night, in a barn on the south corner of the fort, there is a Blacksmith’s Chest Key hanging on a pillar near the horse trader on the first floor. You can then sneak upstairs at night and take the Frankfurt Steel from his chest using the key.
