However, some of the materials are more common than others, making them easier to spot and collect. One such item is Granite Stone. It is highly abundant throughout Arrakis. However, you’ll get the most significant amounts of it in the South Hagga Basin region, which is where new players start the game.

When you’re in the South Hagga Basin area, craft and launch a Survey Probe. This will clear out the map and show you exactly where the available resources are. Now, all you need to do is visit the spots that are marked Granite Stone on the map, and you should find veins to mine the material from. You can either collect the stones using your hands, but this will yield the least amount of Granite Stone.

A much better way is to use a Cutteray to mine the Granite Stone veins you come across. You get a basic version of the Cutteray when starting the game, and this can do the job for now. However, going forward, keep an eye out for opportunities to upgrade the Cutteray to its higher-tier variants. The improved Cutteray can increase your yield of Granite Stone from each of the veins.
