Gun Parts are essential for crafting powerful new weapons and dominating the deserts of Arrakis in Dune Awakening.

Dune Awakening lets players choose from various playstyles and classes. If you stick to Trooper, Mentat, or focus on a ranged weapon build, obtaining Gun Parts should be a top priority. As implied by the name, Gun Parts are salvaged components from broken firearms and are used to fabricate new weapons (guns). Fortunately, obtaining these valuable components is pretty straightforward, and you will eventually accumulate a good amount as you progress.

Gun Parts in Dune Awakening are easy to obtain, and here is how it works.

How To Acquire Gun Parts in Dune Awakening

If you are ready to put up a lot of a fight, you can farm a large amount of Gun Parts during your playthrough. To acquire Gun Parts, there are no specific farming spots. Instead, all you need to do is kill enemies who use ranged weapons and loot their corpses to obtain Gun Parts.

While you can find enemies with firearms throughout the game, you will encounter them most commonly at the Western Vermillus Gap, the game’s second biome. Hunt the Scavengers and Mercenaries at the Outposts and Camps throughout the area and loot their bodies to find Gun Parts.

Alternatively, you can obtain Gun Parts by salvaging your excess or unused guns at the Recycler. Weapons that require Gun Parts to craft have a high chance of returning them upon recycling.

How To Use Gun Parts in Dune Awakening

Gun Parts are used to create new guns. You can craft over 60 different firearms using Gun Parts, making them one of the most essential components. While basic weapons don’t need Gun Parts, they are essential to craft high-level weapons such as Tier 3, 4, and 5. Way of the Desert, Starburst, Syndicate Impaler, Long Shot, Scrubber, and Arhun K-28 Lasgun are some of the notable and powerful ranged weapons that require Gun Parts.

Besides ranged firearms, Gun Parts are also used to craft advanced components like Precision Range Finder, Fluted Light Caliber Compressor, Fluted Heavy Caliber Compressor, and Plasteel Composite Gun Parts.
