How to Get Hand Crossbow +2 in BG3? Explained
To get the Hand Crossbow +2 in Baldur’s Gate 3 you must first make your way into the Lower City during Act 3 and find the Lady Jannath’s Estate. The Estate can be found all the way to the far west of the map of the city. If you’ve already unlocked them, you can use the Baldur’s Gate or Grey Harbour Docks waypoints for fast travel.
Finding the Vault
You will discover a lot of ghostly shenanigans going on inside of the Estate, and the severity of the infestation depends on the status of the Free the Artist quest. If you spoke to Oskar Fevras in Act 1 and the quest is active, then the Estate will have been taken over by ghosts. If Oskar died in the in the Zhentarim Basement, however, then the house will still be haunted but the Lady Jannath will be in mourning.
The vault you are looking for is one floor up from the entrance foyer, and should highlight in red when you’ve found it. Make sure no one else is around and you can attempt to lock pick the safe. To succeed you will have to pass a 15 DC Sleight of Hand roll.
